Sam Smith influences
Influenced by jazz! at an early age, Sam Smith aspired to become a modern soul singer. His energy, his voice, his charisma have all charmed the jury of many awards panels. Sam cites Adele, Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga as influences, to name just a few. Interestingly, Sam Smith didn't listen to male voices until recently and there is certainly a diva-esque quality to his singing.
