MXM tours Asia
Despite now living and producing their music out of South Korea with the agency Brand New, MXM has a huge presence all over Asia . They’ve done fan meetings and concerts in Japan, concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong amongst other concerts and festivals throughout all of Southeast Asia. Young-min lived in Singapore for about five years and travelled back to his once home country to do the duos first fan meeting in Singapore. Shortly after their debut as a duo, MXM participated in BRANDNEW MUSIC’s annual concert, “Brand New World Seoul” at the Jangvhung Arena. MXM have risen to fame quickly throughout their first year as an official duo. In 2017 and 2018 they were nominated for various awards as the Best New Artist on the scene.
MXM members and hits
The name MXM stands for both “Mix & Match” as the duo, despite being different, collaborate well together, and “More & More” because they plan on sticking around and producing music into the extended future. Im Young-Min, born in Busan, South Korea in 1995. He considers himself a singer, dancer and a rapper. Kim Dong-Hyun, born in 1998 in South Korea, loves composing music and playing the guitar.
On July 27, 2017, MXM released a promo with two songs, “Good Day” and “I Just Do”. They made their official debut on 6 September releasing their EP Unmix. On January 10, 2018, MXM released their second EP called Match Up and later they released the double single Rematch.
