Simon Cowell went in search of talented tenor musicians for his new “Il Divo” project and wound up coming across four young male artists with beautiful voices and amazing singing skills. What made this music group so unique was that each one of its members had a different nationality. In 2003 Il Divo was finally formed being the Spanish baritone, Carlos Marín, the two classically trained tenors, Swiss Urs Bühler and American David Miller and finally the French pop singer Sébastien Izambard its members.

So far the band has released nine studio albums, being the last one “A Musical Affair”, which was released in 2013 and has sold over 26 million records worldwide. Il Divo has had the opportunity to sing next to some of the world’s greatest musicians such as Celine Dion, Toni Braxton, Barbra Streisand or Leona Lewis. They’ve also made their own version of many songs that have made history as for example “Hallelujah”, written and sung by the famous Leonard Cohen, “All by Myself” from Eric Carmen, “Unbreak my Heart” from Toni Braxton or “My Way” from Frank Sinatra.
